Understanding Your Billing Cycle and Auto-Renewal

Unisolva services are billed on a subscription basis - annually for hosting and most email plans, or monthly for OX App Suite email. This article explains how your billing cycle works, when invoices are generated, and how auto-renewal operates.

How the Billing Cycle Works

Annual services (hosting, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)

  • Your service term begins on the date your order is activated
  • An invoice is generated automatically 14 days before your renewal date
  • The renewal date is exactly one year (or two or three years for multi-year plans) after activation
  • If auto-renewal is enabled and a valid payment method is on file, the invoice is paid automatically on the due date
  • Your service continues uninterrupted and the next billing cycle begins

Monthly services (OX App Suite)

  • Your first invoice is generated immediately when your mailboxes are provisioned
  • Subsequent invoices are generated on the same day each month (your monthly anniversary)
  • You are billed for the number of active mailboxes at the time of billing

Multi-Year Discounts

When ordering or renewing hosting plans, you can choose a multi-year term for a discounted rate:

  • 2-year plan - 10% off the standard annual price
  • 3-year plan - 15% off the standard annual price

The full discounted amount is billed upfront at the start of the term.

Auto-Renewal

Auto-renewal is enabled by default on all Unisolva services. When enabled:

  • An invoice is automatically created before your renewal date
  • The invoice is charged to your default saved payment method on the due date
  • You receive an email confirmation when the renewal payment is processed
  • Your service continues without any action required on your part

???? Tip

Keep a valid payment method saved in the client portal to ensure seamless auto-renewal.

You will always receive an advance invoice email - review it and contact support if

you have any questions before the due date.

Disabling Auto-Renewal

If you do not want a service to renew automatically, you can disable auto-renewal:

  1. Log in to my.unisolva.com
  2. Go to Services > My Services
  3. Click on the service you want to manage
  4. Look for the Auto-Renewal toggle or setting and disable it
  5. Click Save Changes

⚠️ Warning

If auto-renewal is disabled and you do not pay the renewal invoice manually before

the due date, your service will expire and may be suspended. You will have a short

grace period to reactivate, but data may be deleted after extended non-payment.

If you no longer need the service, use the formal cancellation process instead.

Renewal Reminder Emails

Unisolva sends renewal reminder emails at the following intervals before your renewal date:

  • 30 days before renewal - advance notice with the upcoming invoice details
  • 14 days before renewal - invoice generated and attached
  • 3 days before due date - payment reminder if invoice is still unpaid
  • On the due date - final payment attempt for auto-renewal accounts

???? Tip

Make sure the email address on your Unisolva account is up to date so you receive

all renewal notifications. Update it at my.unisolva.com > Account > Edit Account Details.

Viewing Your Renewal Dates

  1. Log in to my.unisolva.com
  2. Go to Services > My Services
